Role & responsibilities Minimum: B.E. (Any field) with rich experience in materials management, supply chain or related discipline. Experience: 10 to15 years of experience in supply chain management in construction industry Accountable & Responsible for contract / purchase finalization & award of work / supply. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, resolving any disputes or issues in a timely and effective manner. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, identifying and addressing potential risks. Responsible of Service Contracts that involve Civil, finishing, MEP, Fit outs, Infrastructure Works etc. Finalizing all the contract packages with required technical inputs from Architects, Structural consultants and Project team and Handling all contracts related issues Send out detailed enquiries for suppliers and subcontractors. Source all required resources (material, bought out items, plant & machinery, specialist sub-contracts) from available list of suppliers, contacts, Internet. Assess in-house work content and define the labour & plant requirement (with in-depth knowledge of available resources.) Assess preliminary requirement for the project, assess site installation requirements site provisions, crane scaffolding, planning site logistics. Review Tender plans/schedule and Risk analysis Assess all commercial requirements such as financing charges etc. Assemble pricing and prepare the bid submission as per the Tender requirement. Other works include preparation of departmental procedures, introduction letters to clients comply with prequalification documentation work. Attending negotiation meetings (Technical & Commercial), working on further revisions and coordinating till the finalization of tender. Finalise of Tender documents & Floating to Contractors / Vendors / Agencies. Review and finalisation of Rates as per the BOQ and Specifications. Conducting Pre-Bid meetings and clarifying the queries of Contractors. Certifying of Work-orders certifying, Quality & Quantity of the all the items of work. Compare and Analyse Technical & Commercial statement. Checking & processing the NT Items in line with Contractual Terms Lead the development of periodic MIS; Leverage the ERP to efficiently process & report QS metrics Planning and Implementation Survey the Market trends and best practices in SCM. project budgeting & estimation within the Real Estate industry; Provide inputs to superiors for developing appropriate strategies to address/incorporate the same. Support Site location to drive implementation of Department SOPs and ensure consistency of SCM practices across the Organization Preferred candidate profile Knowledge/ Technical skills sourcing and procurement & Contract techniques as well as a talent in reading the market Talent in negotiations and networking Knowledge of cost analysis or comparison analysis of cost data Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers Experience in collecting and analyzing data
