Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Contract) Location: Pune (Onsite/Hybrid as applicable) Experience: 4 to 10 years Industry: Banking/Financial Services (Banking domain experience is a plus) Job Description: We are looking for experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Engineers (Contractors) to join our dynamic team for a key project in the banking domain. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in building scalable microservices using modern frameworks and containerized environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications Implement scalable and performant systems using Akka or LEGOM Framework Work with Apache Pulsar for real-time data streaming Integrate databases using Slick Connector , with a focus on PostgreSQL Ensure search capabilities using ElasticSearch Manage CI/CD processes using GitLab and GitLab Pipelines Deploy and maintain applications on Kubernetes (K8s) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions Ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, testing, and performance optimization Required Skills: Hands-on experience with Akka or LEGOM Framework Proficient in Microservice Architecture and Containerized Applications Experience with Apache Pulsar and ElasticSearch Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and database integration using Slick Connector Familiarity with GitLab , CI/CD Pipelines , and Kubernetes (K8s) Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Good communication and team collaboration abilities Preferred: Prior experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain Note: This is an immediate requirement , and interested professionals should be available to join on short notice.
