Lead the India / CCIB CLDM ITO / Application Development, Support & Engineering to achieve the outcomes set out in the Banks Conduct Principles Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters Key Stakeholders CEE Hive ITO, CEE Engineering Team, Application Delivery, PSS, Testin Other Responsibilities Manage and handle all CCIB CLDM Objectives. Skills And Experience 7 to 10 Years of experience in application development using Advanced JavaScript (ES6 and above), HTML 5, and CSS 3, ReactJs, Redux and Redux Thunk/Saga Hand on experience in using processors like Sass, Less, etc Hand on experience in writing unit testing using Jest with Enzyme or React Testing Library Hand on experience in managing and configuring JavaScript Built Tools (Webpack) and http server (NGINX/Apache httpd) Good knowledge of web standards, security, accessibility, and browser compatibility Good understanding of Java / Microservices design based application engineering Ability to build extensible and scalable solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good knowledge in DevOps, CI-CD. Very good presentation and documentation skills. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks. Experienced in Agile methodology and Waterfall models. Understanding on source control, versioning, branching etc. Recommend future technology capabilities and architecture design considering business objectives, technology strategy, trends, and regulatory requirements. Technical Skills Technical Competence Strong understanding of Advanced JavaScript (ES6), HTML 5, and CSS 3 Experience in building large scale applications using ReactJS with Redux Experience in using Redux middleware like Redux-Saga, Redux-Thunk, etc Experience in application integration using Web Services (REST/GraphQL) Experience in writing unit tests using Jest with Enzyme or React Testing Library Experience in using CSS processors like Sass, Less, etc Experience in using JavaScript Utility Libraries like Underscore, Lodash, etc Good understanding in Nodejs and package managers (npm/yarn) Good understanding and hands on experience in managing and configuring JavaScript Build tools (Webpack/Gulp/etc) Good knowledge of web standards, security, accessibility, and browser compatibility Good undertraining and hands on experience in configuring and managing http server like NGINX Understanding of continuous build concept with GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube or other related tools Basic knowledge of Linux commands. Good to Have Experience in application development for Client Due Diligence (CDD), CRA, On-boarding, FATCA & CRS Good knowledge on Cloud native application development, and knowledge of Cloud computing services. You will be playing a prominent role in supporting middleware products across all business portfolios. You will be involved in engineering activities, join CMDs to resolve Critical Blockers, Capacity planning, Performance Fine tuning, Middleware Product Upgrades etc. You will focus on developing automated self-healing solutions to make the application more resilient based on root cause analysis. The role requires good problem solving and automation skills to get deeper into the issues and improve MTTR. Being responsible for availability and stability of applications. Coordinating with multiple stakeholders for onboarding new application into cloud, application migration from On-Prem to Cloud, middleware product migration. Performing application performance fine tuning. Troubleshooting critical issues and performing root cause analysis. Performing middleware upgrades as part of maintaining security standards. Providing technical recommendations to improve application performance. Remediating middleware product vulnerabilities across various applications. Guiding and supporting fellow team members to ensure tasks activities / projects are tracked and completed on time. Where you'll be working... In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager. Youll need to have: Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience. Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience Good experience in middleware technologiesincluding but not limited to Weblogic, Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat, Nginx etc. Strong end to end middleware product managementknowledge. Good experience in DevOps tools like Jenkins Artifactory Gitlab Good experience in AWS cloud (EC2, ELB, Auto Scaling, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Cloud formation template etc..) Good knowledge in automation (shell scripting Ansible) Good experience in all Linux flavors and Solaris Even better if you have: A Masters degree.
