Direct Tax + Transfer Pricing (AM/Manager) Tax Compliance Drafting submissions for faceless assessment and appeal proceedings, including penalty proceedings. Representing before assessing officers and various tax authorities for assessment and appeal proceedings. Preparing, reviewing, and filing income tax returns and TDS returns for individuals, partnership firms, HUFs, companies, etc. Responding to departmental notices and ensuring timely compliance with tax authorities. Litigation and Representation Briefing managers, partners, and counsels for CIT (Appeals), ITAT and High Court matters. Drafting and preparing detailed submissions and paper books for appellate authorities. Conducting in-depth research on technical and legal issues relevant to appeal matters. Tax Advisory, Structuring and Planning Providing advisory on domestic taxation, international taxation and transfer pricing matters. Preparing and reviewing Form 15CA/CB for cross-border transactions. Advising clients on optimal tax structures and evaluating tax implications of various business models and arrangements. Transfer Pricing Preparing and reviewing Transfer Pricing documentation and Master Files in accordance with Indian TP regulations. Conducting benchmarking studies using global databases to determine arms length pricing for international and specified domestic transactions. Supporting in preparation and filing of Form 3CEB and other regulatory reports. Assisting in TP risk assessment, planning, and transaction structuring for clients. Supporting clients in Transfer Pricing audits and representing before TP officers during assessments. Other Areas Supporting Partners and Managers in day-to-day assignments and client deliverables. Addressing client queries related to taxation and TP matters on a regular basis. Reviewing Tax Audit Reports and coordinating with auditors. Staying updated with developments in direct tax and TP regulations through seminars, professional publications, and networks. Responsibilities: Working in this discipline will see a Manager/ Assistant Manager working on engagements and teams (the sizes of which will vary depending on client/project).
