Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage statutory compliance, taxation, payroll, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate must also possess sound knowledge of Export & Import documentation, compliance, and accounting treatment to support international business operations. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Compliance Maintain books of accounts and ensure timely reconciliations. Prepare and file Income Tax returns and support during assessments. Ensure TDS compliance – deduction, deposit, and filing of returns. Manage GST compliance – returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns), reconciliation, and handling notices. Prepare for statutory and tax audits. Cash Flow Management. Payroll Management Process monthly payroll with statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS). Ensure compliance with labour and wage-related regulations. Export & Import Accounting Manage export & import documentation including shipping bills, invoices, LUT, e-BRC, etc. Ensure compliance with DGFT, FEMA, and RBI guidelines. Handle Customs Duty, IGST on imports, and export incentives (MEIS, RoDTEP, etc.). Track foreign exchange transactions, inward/outward remittances, and ensure compliance with FEMA regulations. Reconcile export incentives, duty drawbacks, and import duty credits. Reporting & Advisory Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards. Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Liaise with statutory authorities, consultants, auditors, and banks. Supervise and guide junior accountants. Qualifications & Skills Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce (CA inter /ICWA/MBA in Finance preferred). 5–10 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance. Strong working knowledge of Export & Import accounting and documentation. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar). Advanced MS Excel and reporting skills. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
