Job Title: Computer Hardware and Software Technician Location: Andheri ,Mumbai Maharashtra Department: IT Support / Technical Services Reports To: Senior Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Hardware and Software Technician to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware components, and software applications across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Assemble, install, and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Diagnose and repair hardware issues including motherboards, hard drives, RAM, power supplies, etc. Install and update operating systems (Windows) and software applications. Troubleshoot software issues including crashes, bugs, and compatibility errors. Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades as needed. Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords. Provide technical support to end-users onsite or remotely. Maintain inventory of IT assets, tools, and spare parts. Ensure system security through antivirus, firewall, and patch management. Document all repairs, configurations, and maintenance performed. He must be ready for pan-India travelling. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 13 years of experience in hardware/software troubleshooting and maintenance. Strong knowledge of computer components, operating systems, and networking basics. Hands-on experience with desktop/laptop repair and software configuration. Familiarity with antivirus tools, backup systems, and remote desktop software. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
