Job Description: - Executive Legal Counsel Compliance The Executive Legal Counsel supports the OC / BL Compliance Counsels or Legal Counsels (as the need may be) in (1) overseeing and implementing the Code of Business Ethics of Technip Energies (the Company) as well as any other internal requirements (policies, standards, procedures or guidelines) (Internal Requirements),; as well as (2) the developing and implementing key initiatives, as may be required from time to time, to ensure that compliance risks faced by the Company are effectively assessed and mitigated. Position Duties The responsibilities of the Executive Legal Counsel shall include but not be limited to the following: Conduct online research using open source and proprietary databases and draft reports accounting for and assessing any of the risks related to any of the Internal Requirements as demanded by needs of the Company business. Be a key actor of the Company's efforts in preventing the any of the risks related to any of the Internal Requirements by proactively identifying areas of improvement. Supporting the effective implementation of the Internal Requirements at the local level. Prepare, upon request, training and / or communication materials to support OCs / BLs Compliance Counsels and / or Legal Counsels (as the need may be) in their training and / or communication requirements. Ensuring the efficient and effective review against the Third-Party Due Diligence Standard of all third parties including Business Partners, Third Party Intermediaries, Subcontractors, Clients etc. across the Company Be a gatekeeper of due-diligence related information, to ensure quick and effective auditing and assessments of the related information. Supporting the Global Compliance Team in the coordination between the Compliance team and internal or external stakeholders. Manage the compliance documentation and logs for due diligences of Third Parties, Donations & Sponsorships, Conflicts of Interest and Gifts, Hospitality and Sponsored Travel, Data Privacy and any of the Internal Requirements. Conduct Restricted Party Screenings/Sanctions Screenings/ Data Privacy Enablement of Third Parties. Work on data visualizations of all kinds to support the communication of the Compliance initiatives (e.g., Power point/ PowerBI/ Excel). Support other domains within the GBS Legal team whenever required. Qualifications, Experience & Skills Law degree (degree in computer science or computer engineering would be a plus). 3 to 5 years of work experience, preferably in corporate or law firm compliance practices. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, project, and presentation software. Maintains a high degree of credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential - able to communicate across organizational levels in different countries. Strives to develop partnerships, teamwork and good working relationships. Understand the complexities of a large international organization. Maintains strong legal and writing skills required to write and edit policies and procedures, reports and memoranda. Demonstrates initiative, self-motivation, practical learning skills, enthusiasm, creativity and an ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Fluency in English required. Flexible able to simultaneously work on a wide variety of tasks and projects, as well as being able to work across different time zones. Stakeholder management needs the ability to identify key stakeholders in the organization, build relations with these and earn their trust.
