About the role: "We are looking to hire an engineer to design components for Industrial Gas Turbines. The candidate should be able to work in an interdisciplinary team to design parts by collating ideas and making decisions using first principle thinking. The candidate must be willing to work on a wide variety of product development tasks such as design, simulation, testing, CPPD, DFMEA, PPAP etc. The job role includes: o Design products for Gas Turbines based on field issues, manufacturing issues, simulation, test data, etc o Refine and improve product designs by conducting root-cause analyses and provide resolutions o Use geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) to determine tolerances of key components o Determine critical influencing parameters o Conduct design reviews for components This will be a client-facing role and has a minor cross-functional responsibility (2-3 teams).
