To do so, you will apply a variety of different tools and 1D, 2D and 3D methods. The engineer will lead efforts in field failure analysis, value innovation, and reliability improvement, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that compressors meet stringent performance and regulatory standards. Key Responsibility : Should have knowledge of 3D Design Tools (Ex: UG/NX, CREO, SolidWork) & should have capability to make part and assembly designing of complete system. Design & development New reciprocating inverter compressor models for refrigerator applications, focusing on improving energy efficiency, noise reduction, and reliability. Modify existing compressor designs to incorporate advanced inverter technologies and optimize performance under varying load conditions. Perform detailed thermal and mechanical analyses to ensure optimal performance and durability. Use simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB) to model compressor behavior under different operating conditions. Plan and execute comprehensive testing protocols to evaluate compressor performance, including efficiency, vibration, noise levels, and reliability. Analyze test data to identify areas for improvement and troubleshoot issues. Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., UL, CE, DOE) and safety regulations. Conduct thorough field failure analysis to identify root causes of compressor malfunctions and failures. Collect and analyze data from field returns and customer feedback to inform design improvements. Develop corrective actions and preventive measures to enhance product reliability. Lead initiatives to innovate compressor designs, focusing on cost reduction, performance enhancement, and new feature integration. Explore and implement novel materials, manufacturing processes, and design concepts to create competitive advantages. Collaborate with R&D teams to develop next-generation compressor technologies Provide technical support to product development, manufacturing, and customer service teams.
