Role & responsibilities : Create technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software like SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD to help with testing and manufacturing. Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to make sure all parts of the system work well together. Use tools and simulations to test if the designs meet automotive standards and performance needs. Find and fix problems in current designs to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance in real-world driving. Write and update design reports, test plans, and user manuals to keep good documentation. Keep up with new technology trends in the automotive field to bring new and better ideas into your work. Understand and follow automotive industry standards (like ISO and SAE) and make sure designs follow rules. Use software tools like MATLAB, Simulink, or ANSYS to analyze and test system performance. Know about different materials and manufacturing methods used in making car parts.
