As a UI/Senior UI Artist at our Navi Mumbai (Belapur) location, your main responsibilities will include creating innovative and visually appealing UI designs for mobile games that are in line with the game's theme, genre, and target audience. You will be tasked with developing intuitive and user-friendly interface layouts, menus, buttons, and navigation systems to enhance gameplay and accessibility. Additionally, designing high-quality graphics, icons, and visual assets for various in-game elements such as characters, environments, items, and special effects will be a key aspect of your role. Collaboration is essential in this position, as you will work closely with artists, designers, and developers to ensure a cohesive and consistent visual style, branding, and storytelling across all game elements. You will also be responsible for creating prototypes, wireframes, and mock-ups to visualize and iterate UI/UX designs, gather feedback, and refine the user interface based on user testing and data-driven insights. Moreover, your role will involve designing and implementing engaging animations and motion graphics for UI transitions, effects, and interactive elements to enhance user engagement and immersion. You will be required to optimize UI assets, graphics, and animations for mobile devices to ensure smooth performance, fast loading times, and seamless integration with the game engine and platform requirements. Effective communication is key, as you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including game designers, developers, and product managers, to align on project goals, requirements, and timelines. You will need to present UI/UX design concepts, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders, gather feedback, and incorporate changes as needed to achieve the desired results. To be successful in this role, you should have a BA degree in art media, graphic design, or equivalent relevant experience. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in game UI development at a Mobile/videogame development studio is required, along with a strong understanding of composition, color, lighting, perspective UX, and UI. Experience in adjusting style and technique to suit the requirements of mobile game development is essential. Furthermore, having a proven aesthetic eye, detail sensitivity, strong design sensibilities, and a passion for the game industry are advantageous. You should be able to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and be proficient in using Adobe products like Photoshop and Illustrator. Bonus experience in understanding Unity3Ds pipeline for asset integration and the ability to bring game objects to life through animation or visual effects using Spine would be beneficial.,
