Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Animation & VFX Artist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality animations, visual effects, and motion graphics that enhance storytelling across films, advertisements, games, and digital content. You will collaborate closely with directors, designers, and editors to translate concepts into visually compelling outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Animation

• Create 2D/3D character animations, motion graphics, and environment animations.
• Develop storyboards, animatics, and pre-visualizations to communicate ideas.
• Animate objects, characters, and scenes that meet timing, movement, and emotional requirements.
• Refine animations based on feedback while maintaining high production quality.

VFX

• Design and produce visual effects such as particle simulations, explosions, smoke, fire, water, and magic effects.
• Integrate VFX seamlessly into live-action or 3D scenes.
• Perform compositing, including rotoscoping, keying, tracking, and matte painting.
• Optimize VFX for different formats (film, OTT, broadcast, social media).

Collaboration & Workflow

• Work closely with directors, art teams, and editors to understand creative vision.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in software such as:
• Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro
• Photoshop/Illustrator
• Blender / Maya / Cinema 4D
• Nuke / Fusion (for compositing)
• Houdini (bonus for procedural FX)
• Strong understanding of:
• Motion principles (timing, spacing, weight, anticipation).
• Lighting, shading, rendering.
• Visual composition and storytelling.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize scenes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, VFX, Multimedia, or related field (optional).
• 1–3+ years of experience in animation/VFX production (or strong portfolio for entry level).
• Experience working in film, gaming, advertising, or digital agencies is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to take feedback positively and adapt quickly.

Portfolio Requirement

Applicants MUST provide:

• Demo reel/showreel with relevant animation & VFX work.
• Breakdown of individual contributions to projects.
• Follow production pipeline, naming conventions, and documentation procedures.
• Manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
