As a Sr 2D Animation Supervisor at Lumicel Animation Studios, you will play a crucial role in spearheading animation production to elevate it to the next level. Collaborating with Directors and Clients, your responsibilities will include leading a team of talented artists to ensure that the animation quality meets studio standards and client expectations. You will have the exciting opportunity to oversee all episodic animation, from scene assignments to final quality control. Reviewing episodes with Directors/Clients and providing feedback throughout the production process will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for communicating necessary revisions to both overseas animators and in-house revisionists to maintain continuity and meet the expected animation quality. Meeting production milestones and deadlines will be essential, and you will be expected to motivate your team to achieve the same. Apart from supervision tasks, you will also be actively involved in animating complex scenes and corrections. Leading the team to ensure timely delivery of episodes will also be one of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Animation Supervisor and at least 8 years of experience in a 2D production environment. Proficiency in industry-standard animation software such as Adobe Flash and Toon Boom Harmony is a must. A degree or diploma from a recognized animation school is also required. Strong leadership skills to motivate, mentor, and coach a diverse crew are essential, along with excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
