As an Animal Technician (Level 2A) at the Biomedical Research Facility (BRF) in University Hospital Southampton, your role involves providing maternity cover until Friday 30 October 2026. The BRF is known for its excellence in supporting scientists conducting crucial medical research in various areas such as cancer, osteoporosis, neurology, and asthma. **Key Responsibilities:** - Carry out daily animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, watering, and cleaning enclosures. - Perform routine animal welfare checks and maintain accurate records. - Uphold high standards of animal health, welfare, and biosecurity in accordance with Home Office regulations and facility policies.
