You will be responsible for building a highly-scalable and extensible robust application. This position reports to the Engineering Manager. Responsibilities: Align Sigmoid with key Client initiatives, interface daily with customers across leading Fortune 500 companies to understand strategic requirements, and tie business requirements to technology solutions. Open to working from the client location as per the project demands. Facilitate in Technical Aspects, develop fault-tolerant distributed components using Java technologies, and provide technical leadership to manage on a day-to-day basis. Stay updated on the latest technology trends for the greatest ROI for customers & Sigmoid. Design and implement APIs, abstractions, and integration patterns for challenging distributed computing problems. Define technical requirements, automate jobs, explore new big data technologies, and work within a Parallel Processing environment. Culture: Must be a strategic thinker with the ability to think unconventionally. Analytical and solution-driven with raw intellect, talent, and energy. Entrepreneurial and Agile mindset, capable of being both a leader and hands-on "doer." Qualifications: Years of relevant work experience with a Computer Science or related technical discipline. Proficiency in developing Enterprise scale applications, frameworks, and design patterns. Experience in functional and object-oriented programming languages like Java or Python. Knowledge in Springboot, APIs, SQL, and optional skills in GIT, Airflow, Node JS, Angular Python. Experience with database modeling, data mining, and testing methodologies. Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers. Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment. Proficient with SQL and its variations among popular databases. Experience working with large, complex data sets from various sources.,
