Angular Migration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Angular Migration Engineer with strong expertise in front-end

modernization and hands-on experience migrating legacy applications to the latest Angular versions.

The ideal candidate will have solid exposure to the US Insurance domain, excellent problem-solving

skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment for a leading service-based IT

organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end Angular version migration for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Analyze existing legacy codebases (AngularJS/older Angular versions) and design migration

roadmaps.

• Rewrite, refactor, and optimize components, services, modules, and UI layers for performance.
• Ensure all migrations follow best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
• Collaborate with backend, QA, architects, and US-based stakeholders.
• Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, and client communication.
• Work on UI performance optimization, responsive design, and accessibility.
• Produce clean, scalable, maintainable code with documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Support integration with backend APIs and microservices.
• Assist in testing and deployment throughout SDLC.
• Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies early.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of front-end development experience with Angular (Angular 8+).
• Hands-on experience with AngularJS to Angular migration or version upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, RxJS, Observables, and NgRx.
• Expertise in HTML5, SCSS/CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and UI libraries.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Jest).
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
