Role Overview: As an AngularJS Lead at Persistent, you will be responsible for the client side of the service, focusing on implementing a complete user interface for mobile and desktop web apps with a strong emphasis on performance. Your main tasks will include creating modules and components, integrating them into a functional app, assisting with animations, CSS, and final HTML output. You will collaborate with the back-end developer and communicate with the API using standard methods, requiring a thorough understanding of the platform and infrastructure components. Key Responsibilities: - Communicate with external web services as needed - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, backend developers, and designers - Assist in building the RESTful API by liaising with back-end developers - Write tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript/typescript, Angular material, HTML, and CSS - Develop configuration, build, and test scripts for continuous integration environments - Implement non-blocking, loosely coupled code and advanced techniques when necessary - Architect scalable web and mobile solutions from scratch - Create e2e test suites for all components and run them with Protractor - Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and maintain high performance and standardized coding - Report development progress to management and coordinate workflow with graphic designers and HTML coders - Deploy test-driven development methodologies and keep the team motivated with challenging tasks Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college - Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3 - Familiarity with Unix/Linux command prompt - Experience with AngularJS and other front-end frameworks such as BackBoneJS, EmberJs, KnockOutJS - Strong skills in building fast and scalable web/mobile sites using HTML5, CSS3, and latest JavaScript standards - Understanding of mobile web view, responsive designs, and Angular best practices - Ability to document code inline using JSDoc or other conventions - Knowledge of project lifecycle, Angular Platform, API consumption, and troubleshooting - Strong communication and analytical skills Additional Details: Persistent Ltd. is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace, welcoming applications from all qualified individuals, including those with disabilities and regardless of gender or gender preference.
