Android Platform Embedded Engineer

You have a strong background in Android system software development, particularly in Qualcomm-based systems, with experience in Linux Kernel, Drivers, HAL layer, Native Frameworks (C++), JNI, and Application layer. Your responsibilities will include device Board bring up, kernel issue resolution, analysis of kernel crash, and root cause analysis. You should have sound knowledge of Android device driver development and debugging, along with proficiency in C and Assembly Programming, OS & Multi-Processor concepts. Your skills should also encompass Embedded C/C++ Programming, OS Concepts, Inter-Process Communication (IPC), Android Interface Definition Language (AIDL), and Hardware Interface Definition Language (HIDL). Experience in boot time measurement and optimization for quick boot requirements will be beneficial for this role. Additionally, familiarity with Java Libraries, JNI, Advanced Java concepts, and Android multimedia Framework development is required. Moreover, you should have experience in Android Services such as Media player, Bluetooth (BT), Car services, etc., as well as knowledge in Android Auto, Car play, and Android Application development using JAVA/Kotlin.
