Android Framework Expert

As an Android Application and Service/API Developer, you will be responsible for developing applications and services in Managed code (Java, Kotlin) as well as Native code (C/C++). Your expertise in Android Framework internals, including Window Manager, Activity Manager, OOM/LMK, System Services, and interface development, will be crucial for the success of the projects. You will need to ensure compliance with Android R/Generic Kernel Image (GKI) standards through GKI compliant Kernel driver development, Kernel stability assurance, and support. Additionally, your role will involve the development of Kernel memory management modules and Android Vendor Modules. Collaborating with the core development team, you will work on system power and performance management solutions at both the Android kernel and framework levels. End-to-end integration of developed functionality to native/managed clients and the creation of system and unit test cases for the modules developed will be part of your responsibilities. Your leadership skills will be essential for driving module ownership and completion, as well as for stakeholder management. Good communication and teamwork are valuable assets that will contribute to the successful commercialization of solutions and the resolution of commercialization issues. Overall, your role will require a deep understanding of Android application development, system integration, power/performance/thermal solution integration, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.,
