What you'll do

• Lead Android app development:

  Enhance and scale our production app, implementing new features and improving performance for tens of thousands of users.

• Architect a redesign:

  Take ownership of modernizing our Android codebase and defining scalable architecture for rapid growth.

• Make key product decisions:

  Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and leadership to shape product direction.

• Integrate new designs:

  Translate Figma mockups and iOS feature parity requirements into polished, user-friendly Android experiences.

• Mentor & guide:

  Provide technical leadership to junior developers and help establish Android best practices across the team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong expertise in

  Java

  and

  Kotlin

  , with a track record of delivering production-grade apps.
• Experience architecting and scaling complex Android applications.
• Strong grasp of UI/UX standards, performance optimization, and debugging.

• Signals we love:

  IIT (especially Bombay/Delhi/Madras/Kanpur/Roorkee/Guwahati), exceptional

  JEE rank

Preferred Skills

• Experience at food delivery or quick commerce companies (Zomato, Swiggy, Zepto, Blinkit, etc.)

• Compensation:

  $1,200$2,500/month
