Job Roles: 1> Android Middleware Engineer / Lead (5+ Years) 2> Sr. Solution Architect - Middleware (12-18 years) Location: Bangalore | Pune | Chennai Mandatory Skills: Android Middleware Development AOSP Development & HAL Integration Android Automotive OS (AAOS) Framework expertise Middleware Service Development using NDK, C++, and Java AAOS Native Services and Configuration Android Build System, CTS, and VTS Key Responsibilities: Develop middleware solutions for Audio, Media, Tuner, Connectivity, HAL, Graphics, Projection technologies, and Inter-domain Communication within an SDV environment. Work with latest Android Automotive versions to enhance middleware functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate platform services and optimize system performance. Develop and maintain high-quality code using C++ and Java. Ensure compliance with Android Build System, CTS, and VTS. Architect and design middleware solutions for AAOS-based infotainment and connectivity platforms (for Sr. Solution Architect role). Provide technical leadership and mentorship (for Sr. Solution Architect role).

Job Responsibilities: Should be a Software Architect responsible for Automotive Infotainment Android Product. Should independently own the overall Android SW Architecture & Design Analyzing Customer Requirements, Internal and Standard Requirements to create Software Architecture Design Ensure the creation of software design document from architectural design by partnering with stakeholders like system engineer, SW team, SWPL, IT&V, electrical engineer. Participate in software architectural and software design reviews Participate in competency design, customer design reviews and deep dive discussions for any challenges faced in design/issues Develop reuse strategy for the product/project Participate in Product Strategy and Architecture Planning and support of Product Roadmap Development Help start center for new business pursuits and customer engagement. Work with systems/customer towards defining functionality/requirements where gaps are identified. Single point of contact (technical) for internal team and Customer/external interfaces Working with potential suppliers for new and upcoming technologies for Infotainment products. Should understand and involve in various KPIs including certification activities/process. Analysis and resolution of customer and internal reported systemic issues Be abreast with current technology trend in Infotainment Products and handle stakeholders & customer requests. Monitor Android Automotive trends, roadmaps and incorporate in product SW roadmap Key Experience/Skill Requisites: Vehicle level knowledge of Infotainment products and ECUs that communicate with Infotainment Head Unit Experience in Infotainment technologies like Tuner, Media, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, WiFi, Networking. At least 6+ years of Android development experience (Application, Services, HAL, BSP in Android) 3+ years of experience as Android SW Architect role 3+ years of experience in Automotive Infotainment domain 3+ years of experience on Android Automotive OS Expertise in minimum Android 11/12 version. Latest Technology and trends in Android Automotive products Deep architecture and development level knowledge on Infotainment Android Solutions. Expertise in Android Framework & Android Automotive Framework. Expertise on setting up Android AOSP build system for new product Expertise in Android Studio IDE Design, Development and Debugging. Excellent Java, C, C++ programming skills. Excellent knowledge on Android App Development concepts and APIs Expertise in HIDL and HAL services design. Expertise in Android Security policies Expertise in Android Product/Device/Board Configuration Expertise in Android Secure Boot, Android startup and initialization sequences Good knowledge on Android BSP Good knowledge of performance optimizations in Android Working Experience in Agile development, ASPICE process adherence on Architecture and traceability. Designs, develops, maintains, tests, and optimizes operating system to implement hardware abstraction layers, OS services, and user space software subsystems. The subsystems development requires technologies including virtualization, containerization, graphics/media user space components, Security, Wide vine, networking routing, connectivity stacks (Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, etc.), power management, performance optimization, and/or other technologies both open source and proprietary. Utilizes knowledge in software architecture, design, and development, and understands operating system internals and silicon on platform features. Qualifications Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineer. Hands on experience in systems software development (at the intersection of hardware and software), Android, Linux, Device Drivers, security, Widevine. Virtualization technologies expertise with at least 10 years of industry experience. Strong competence in operating Systems. Android, Linux, distributed computing. Proficient in programming using languages such as C, C++, Java, Python etc. Proficient in software architecture designing and providing solutions involving OS and Hypervisors.
