Detailed Description: Key Job Responsibilities: . Design & Implementation of Audio components in Android HAL layer (C++) . Design & Implementation of Android Framework and Application (C++, Java) . Test tool design & development and unit testing . Perform structured root-cause analysis on Audio defects and implement the fixes . Review design, implementation and provide feedback . Analyse and understand the changes in Android Audio as and when Android version changes Key Performance Indicators: . Strong in C++ programming . Strong working knowledge of Android Audio o Audio Flinger, Audio HAL, AAudio, Audio Policy, Car Audio . Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking . RTOS & Other OS concept understanding and working experience . Experience in Design tools like Rhapsody/Visio . OOP based implementation experience and understanding . Embedded Hardware understanding, datasheet, schematics . Experience of GIT . Project description Luxoft is looking for experienced Android Framework and BSP developers for enablement of this platform for the customer. This brings immense scope of development for Android developers and enthusiasts. Responsibilities As a Senior Android Developer, you would be responsible for below components of Android Automotive: Linux, Embedded, device driver, Audio subsystem, RTOS, Audio HAL, Audio Framework, OpenMax, ALSA, I2S Skills Must have Engineer with 3-8 years of experience in Android Framework or HAL or driver development Strong C/C++ development skills with a good understanding of object-oriented design Good understanding of Android framework, overall Android Architecture. Proficient in any one of Android HAL amongst Audio, Graphics, Camera, Power etc. Desirable experience with Multimedia frameworks such as OpenMAX, and Codec2Compliance with CTS/VTS and support in resolving defects Strong background in embedded systems development System knowledge, System Debugging Nice to have Experienced with the Android Automotive platform is desired Experience with Android multimedia framework is desired
