An opportunity has arisen for an HR Case Consultant within our HR Plus service Home - Current vacancies - HR Case Consultant – outsourced HR Investigations – Edinburgh or Glasgow The Role Anderson Strathern’s HR Plus service is a client focused service launched in March 2018, based within our Employment, Immigration & Pensions team. The HR Case Consultant will provide HR support to our commercial clients, supporting a portfolio of cases ensuring they are managed to a timely and appropriate conclusion. The role will focus principally on the management of cases which can be sensitive and at times complex in nature. You will act as the investigator or, occasionally, support managers in conducting investigations such as disciplinary, attendance, performance, grievance, and sickness absence. This is an opportunity for someone who is interested in further developing their career in HR or who simply wants to get involved in investigation work. The role may also involve additional HR services as required by clients, including supporting the full range of internal meetings such as absence management and general HR work. You will be assisting a variety of clients including larger industrial clients, local authorities, colleges and universities to small businesses with a handful of employees. There will also be opportunities to take part in business development activities, helping to grow the business. The importance of solid team working will be imperative as there will be a need to work closely with our clients, our HR Business Partners and employment lawyers and, where appropriate, other colleagues in our full-service law firm.
