#1 - Job Description: Oracle Cloud Architect and Database Administrator Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Global Shared Services team as an Oracle Cloud (OCI) Architect and Database Administrator. The candidate should be able to work independently & as part of a global team, with excellent communication and analytical skills. He / She will be working onsite in our SSC at Gurugram India - supporting India, Far East and US Time Zones as per need. Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases and associated tools. Design and implement Oracle Cloud infrastructure and services. Create, maintain, and alter database structures and accounts. Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards and best practices. Perform security checks, backups, and data extraction. Resolve tickets and provide support to vendors and users. Perform performance analysis, optimization, testing, and root cause analysis. Understand business problems and suggest database and cloud solutions. Work with development teams to ensure applications are designed and deployed to meet cloud architecture standards. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team. Collaborate with other architects and stakeholders to ensure the cloud architecture aligns with business goals. Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures. Monitor and optimize cloud performance and cost. Requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA and/or Senior Oracle Cloud Architect Experience with Oracle RAC, OEM, AMP, RMAN, PL/SQL, ASM, and OCFS2 Experience with administration tools like Enterprise Manager/Grid Control Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Classic (OCI-C), and Oracle Cloud Platform (OCP) Experience with Cloud architecture design and implementation Experience with Cloud security policies and procedures Certifications in Oracle Cloud and Database Administration Other: Proficient in English, verbal and written Should have experience in working with cross cultural teams Flexible in working as per different time zones India, Far East, US Willing to travel, if required Onsite working in office at Gurugram Long term career perspective with Elevate Textiles Should be able to join in 30 days maximum Location: Gurugram, NCR Reporting to : India CIO Websites : www.elevatetextiles.com
