As a skilled Tekla Modeler with over 2 years of experience in modeling concrete structures (precast or cast-in-place) using Tekla Structures, your role will involve creating accurate 3D models, reinforcement details, and shop/production drawings for concrete elements in industrial, infrastructure, or building projects. You will be responsible for creating accurate 3D models of concrete elements such as beams, slabs, columns, walls, footings, and stairs using Tekla Structures. Additionally, you will need to model and detail reinforcement (rebar) and embed items in accordance with design drawings and project specifications. Generating shop drawings, rebar drawings, formwork drawings, GA drawings, and material take-offs (BOM/BOQ) will also be part of your responsibilities. It is essential for you to understand and implement construction tolerances, rebar spacing, anchorage lengths, cover, and lap splices. You will need to coordinate with project engineers and other modelers to resolve issues and implement feedback. Adhering to company and client-specific detailing standards and international codes (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocode) is crucial. Ensuring quality control and timely delivery of project models and drawings, as well as participating in model coordination, clash checks, and drawing reviews, are key aspects of this role. The preferred candidate profile includes a Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent technical education, along with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Tekla Structures for concrete modeling. Experience in precast or cast-in-place (CIP) concrete detailing projects is considered essential. A strong understanding of reinforcement detailing practices and construction methods will be beneficial for this role.
