4PM News Network is India’s leading political news channel on YouTube with over 7.8 million subscribers. Known for fearless journalism, ground reporting, and in-depth analysis, we are expanding our team and looking for a passionate and experienced News Anchor to join us in Lucknow.

Role Overview

As a News Anchor, you will be the face of our channel—delivering engaging, unbiased, and impactful news coverage. You will not only anchor shows but also contribute to scriptwriting, news planning, and editorial discussions. The ideal candidate must have a strong grip on Indian politics, the ability to present news with clarity and confidence, and the skill to connect with our large digital audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Anchor live news bulletins, debates, and special shows for YouTube and other digital platforms.
• Write, edit, and prepare your own scripts with accuracy and speed.
• Research and analyze political developments to deliver insightful coverage.
• Conduct interviews with political leaders, experts, and public figures.
• Collaborate with editorial teams to decide show formats, story angles, and presentation style.
• Ensure journalistic integrity, accuracy, and credibility in all reporting.
• Adapt to the fast-paced digital news environment and engage with audiences effectively.

Requirements

• Experience: 4–5 years of professional anchoring experience (preferably in political/news reporting).
• Skills:
• Excellent scriptwriting and storytelling ability.
• Strong understanding of Indian politics, current affairs, and public issues.
• Confident on-camera presence and engaging delivery style.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong command over Hindi (English proficiency is an added advantage).
• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field preferred.
