Role & responsibilities Create 3D models of steel structures using Tekla Structures software. Use engineered design drawings to model and make connections. Work as part of a set team to ensure project schedules are met and drawings submitted to clients are error-free. Collaboration across teams is also required. Preferred candidate profile High school or higher education in technical, mathematics, science, engineering or computers. In-depth knowledge of Tekla Structures software, including macros and custom components usage. Strong technical knowledge of structural steel modeling and connecting using engineered design drawings. Minimum three years experience modeling and making connections on United States detailing projects using AISC standards . Willingness to develop knowledge and skills in the steel detailing industry. Motivation to work efficiently and conform to specific drafting standards. Ability to work collaboratively in a team, across multiple geographies. Strong English language communication skills.
Submittals: Prepare submittals (PDF drawing exports, reports, DSTV files and others as required as per client's specific standards) Communicate with internal teams to address any submittal issues or revisions. 2. Software & Hardware Support: Install, Update, and maintain production software (e.g. Tekla, Autodesk, SDS/2) Assist with troubleshooting basic hardware issues and support equipment distribution. 3. System Maintenance & File Management Under guidance from Senior Tech - regularly review and organize directories, to remove outdated or unnecessary files. 4. General IT Support Provide first-level technical support for common hardware and software issues. Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up hardware, software, and user accounts. 5.Supplies & Inventory Management Monitor and restock basic IT supplies such as cables, keyboards, and mice. Track equipment checkouts and returns to ensure proper inventory management.
