Amazon is seeking an experienced candidate for a role in Global Finance Support (GFS) organization to lead Anaplan Model building BIE team supporting workforce capacity planning for our Worldwide Finance Operations stakeholders.
This is a key senior level position, with a very high visibility within the organization and will require the candidate to partner with Amazon Finance Operations team, which is spread across 8+ geos with over 4000 headcount (HC) supporting close to 180 different services. Candidate should have a good understanding of AP/AR processes and should be able to develop forecast models to support headcount needs to deliver world class service performance. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strategic thinking, strong leadership capabilities, and excellence in cross-functional collaboration, while maintaining superior attention to detail and effectively managing multiple priorities. Technical expertise required includes proficiency in Anaplan Model designing, SQL, API's and experience with reporting tools such as Cognos, Amazon QuickSight, Tableau etc. Additionally, possess working knowledge of databases and data structures, in order to collaborate with DE/BIE teams. This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual who can start from scratch, build models to solve business problems and have the skill and backbone to convey right message to management, who can assist in the strategic allocation of resources around the globe.Key job responsibilities- Develop and improve forecasting models using data collection, data analysis and statistical tools- Create optimal capacity plan for Finance Operations business by managing trade-offs between Customer Experience and Cost Effectiveness.
- 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience
- Experience with SQL- 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience- Experience with ETL- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools- L3 certification or Solution architect certification on Anaplan model building.
- 4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience
