Experience with residential, commercial, or institutional buildings is preferred. Proven experience in leading or contributing to building design projects from start to finish. Skills & Competencies: Strong proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar. Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) practices. Familiarity with construction processes, materials, and building codes. Strong visual awareness and an eye for detail. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Creativity combined with technical expertise Key Responsibilities: Meet with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget. Prepare and present design proposals using CAD software, 3D modeling, and physical sketches. Develop detailed architectural plans, drawings, and specifications. Ensure building designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and environmental standards. Coordinate with civil, structural, MEP, and landscape engineers. Oversee project timelines, cost estimates, and site inspections. Resolve design-related issues and modify plans during construction as needed. Select materials and finishes with consideration for durability, aesthetics, and cost. Ensure sustainability and energy efficiency are integrated into design. Liaise with local authorities to obtain building permits and zoning approvals.
