Role & responsibilities

Science Focus '- Support the development of R&D proposals in line with business aligned objectives/ collaborative projects
- Develop analytical methodologies - Food & Beverages - Should have a good understanding on the guiding principles of ISO 17025 and should work with 3P testing laboratories - Handling & maintenance of Instruments, should also have equal experience with wet chemical parameters - Independent design of experiments, experimental data verification and ensuring data robustness - Establish project goals and priorities in consultation with product development team - Monitor project metrics and developing measures and methods. - Document all phases of research and development and regulatory compliance - Planning, coordination, execution, monitoring operations and evaluation of in house analysis and third party testing laboratories EHS Compliance - Ensuring EHS compliance by self and team Collaboration - Execute & administer innovation program with wider R&D ecosystem (e.g. research centres, universities, institutions) to define novel and differentiating technologies/ chemistries - Network with Cross functional team members to establish seamless program integrating requirements across functions People Management -Contribute to a postive team dynamics by being supportive and demonstrate positive interpersonal skills

Preferred candidate profile

The role builds and strengthens science and technology through timely delivery of defined milestones / products / processes to add value to current/future business needs of Reliance Consumer Products Ltd. Also, nurture scientific talent within the platform to identify opportunities for growing existing products and processes including new categories with sound scientific principles. Develop ideas and approaches to solve technical challenges.

The role is expected to establish and maintain precise Food & Beverages specifications and conduct thorough raw material & finished product analysis using wet chemical and instrumentation techniques as appropriate through the following requirements:

- Prior experience in Food & Beverages specification development and analysis within FMCG/Food industry

- Knowledge of Food regulations and quality standards

- Strong analytical skills (both wet chemical & instrumentation) and attention to detail

- Excellent communcation and collaboration activities
