You ll be working closely with business stakeholders to define detailed, often complex and ambiguous business problems or opportunities which can be supported through advanced analytics, making sure that new and existing processes are designed to be efficient, simple and automated where possible. As well as this, you ll be: Leading and coaching your colleagues to plan and deliver strategic project and scrum outcomes Planning and delivering data and analytics resource, expertise and solutions, which brings commercial and customer value to business challenges Communicating data and analytics opportunities and bringing them to life in a way that business stakeholders can understand and engage with Adopting and embedding new tools, technologies and methodologies to carry out advanced analytics Developing strong stakeholder relationships to bring together advanced analytics, data science and data engineering work that is easily understandable and links back clearly to our business needs The skills youll need We re looking for someone with a passion for data and analytics together with knowledge of data architecture, key tooling and relevant coding languages. Along with advanced analytics knowledge, you ll bring an ability to simplify data into clear data visualisations and compelling insight using appropriate systems and tooling . About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for the role of Wealth Performance and Analytics Analyst. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Data Analytics, SQL and ETL, with significant experience in the banking, investment, portfolio management and financial services sectors. Requirements: Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in SQL and ETL, with 8-10 years in Data Analytics, within the Banking/Financial Services domain preferably wealth performance Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries. Hands-on experience with Tableau for data visualization is mandatory. Familiarity with Alteryx is optional. Extensive experience in banking, investment, portfolio management, or financial services. As a Field Performance Reporting and Analytics - Analyst in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm. You will be supporting fieldPerformance reporting and analysis and work closely with senior business management leads based out of US. Job Responsibilities Perform various BAU and ad-hoc tasks related to branch scorecard and analytics. Provide commentary and insights on business performance, facilitating discussions on trend exceptions and other focus areas, and bringing these to managements attention. Play a key role in conceptualizing and developing new reporting decks for tracking and driving performance around various field initiatives. Support multiple ad-hoc requests from the Business and Senior Management, ranging from understanding and commenting on performance trends to conducting deep dives that provide insights into field performance, including progress on key strategic initiatives. Constantly seek opportunities to automate existing reports. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills MBA (Finance) with minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience with specialized experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Finance, performance reporting and analytics, metric/business scorecards. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and partnering skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Strong team player and ability to work with various diverse finance and business management teams. Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment. Ability to research issues/problems and provide a solution-based approach. Adaptable to change and ambiguity in the work environment. Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (ie use of pivot tables, macros, arrays, etc) Strong knowledge of Essbase Working knowledge of any ETL/Analytical/BI tools eg Alteryx, Tableau etc
