As a member of the team at LESER India, a leading manufacturing company for safety valves in India and a subsidiary of a German MNC, you will play a key role in providing management and technical advice to employees. Your responsibilities will include active coordination with the global Product Data Management (PDM) team to ensure that salable products are efficiently mapped in the product configurator. This will involve making these products accessible, understandable, and manufacturable for all areas within the LESER Group. Your main tasks will involve the definition and implementation of requirements in the variant configurator for LESER products. This will include planning, development, and modification of the variant configurator, as well as cross-departmental coordination and documentation of changes. Additionally, you will be responsible for passing on information from the variant configurator to downstream divisions and continuously optimizing the entire product structure within the LESER Group. You will also be involved in data evaluation and presentation using SAP tools and MS Office. Your role will include identifying opportunities to reduce master data through intelligent solution approaches and new concepts. Furthermore, you will provide technical support to all (international) departments in the PDM helpdesk and collaborate with the global PDM teams through consulting, testing, and training. As a leader in your field, you will support employees with technical questions and ensure adherence to the LESER quality policy. To excel in this role, you should have training in SAP and process management, hold a BE degree in Mechanical or IT background, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience. Additionally, you should possess process management skills and specific skills required for the above-named duties, such as analytical understanding, data structure comprehension, interest in summarizing results, and a focus on master data monitoring and optimization.
