The HRS Business Travel Club (BTC) is the Business Unit responsible for managing and developing the HRS E-Commerce platforms of well-known hotel portal businesses such as HRS.de and HOTEL.DE. BTC aims to provide exclusive services to its members, individual business travelers, and SMEs, enhancing customer loyalty and enabling brand repositioning in the marketplace. Your mission within BTC is to further develop and shape "The HRS Business Travel Club" and its solutions to drive innovation within the HRS Group. As a Chandigarh/Mohali based GCP Data Engineer, your role involves building a next-generation Customer Data Platform that enables customers to find their perfect hotel for every trip while helping hotel partners grow their business. You will work on understanding, implementing, and documenting requirements for the Customer Data Platform (CDP) within HRS Group, collaborating with various teams to ensure its continued development to serve the strategic vision of the group. To excel in this role, you should have a degree in business computer science, mathematics, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or data science. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and the GCP toolset is essential, as is knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, etc. Additionally, you should possess project management skills, commercial awareness, and ideally, experience with analytical CRM, CDPs, Marketing Automation, or integrated Sales & Marketing setups.
