Purpose of the Job: To provide critical support and strategic insights to the ED to enable him to make decisions. Act as a "barometer having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the ED updated. Operations: •Accountable for tracking & monitoring the progress of all assignments. Develop risk mitigation plans to manage risks. Escalate where required. •Follow-through on MoMs and initiatives to successful completion, often with deadline pressures. •Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the EDs office and internal departments and plants demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff. Reporting: •Accountable for preparing reports and focusing on deviations to identify and highlight risk of failure / delay. •Follow-through on MoMs and initiatives to successful completion, often with deadline pressures. Internal and External Relationships: Internal relationships with the LoB Heads, Department Heads and other employees. External relationships with Consultants, industry associations and other industry bodies Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills: Mechanical Engineer coupled with a MBA in Operations Management or a Post-graduate degree in Industrial Engineering. At least 8 years experience as an Analyst in manufacturing sector. Deep understanding and insights of manufacturing processes. Ability to engage with people across levels.

Group Technology support services to over 7500 end users across the globe, manage the information security operation and safeguard all our assets. Group Technology has a global presence across all regions with over 400 staff. Our Data Engineering team is responsible for developing, building, maintaining, and managing data pipelines. This requires working with large datasets, databases, and the software used to analyse them including cloud systems like AWS or Azure. Key Responsibilities Write advanced T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to handle complex data transformations, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Perform query performance optimization, including indexing strategies and tuning for large datasets. Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like SSIS, ADF, or equivalent, ensuring seamless data integration and transformation. Build and automate data workflows to support accurate and efficient data operations. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand financial business processes and requirements. Develop tailored data solutions to address challenges such as cost allocation, weighted distributions, and revenue recognition using mathematical and logical reasoning. Conduct root cause analysis for data issues, resolving them swiftly to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to transform business logic into actionable data workflows. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business objectives. Document data workflows, pipelines, and processes to support ongoing maintenance and scalability. Required Skills and Experiences Minimum 5+ years of experience require in the similar role or same skillset Advanced proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server, including tools like SSMS, SQL Profiler, and SQL Agent. Proven experience developing and optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, and ETL pipelines. Proficiency with SSIS for data integration and transformation. Strong critical thinking and mathematical reasoning skills to design efficient solutions for business problems. Demonstrated ability to handle complex financial data challenges, including proportional distributions and other mathematical transformations. Solid understanding of financial concepts and processes, enabling seamless translation of business needs into data solutions. Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, translating requirements into technical solutions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration across teams. Familiarity with Python, C#, or similar scripting languages for backend integration. Experience with cloud ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Fivetran, or Airbyte. Knowledge of data governance and compliance principles.
