As an Analyst in the US Mortgage Underwriting team at our company, you will be responsible for working on the underwriting process for 12M/30 Year Loan Products in the Private Mortgage Lending industry. Your role will involve examining and evaluating various documents such as Credit & Background reports, Loan application forms, financial statements, entity documents, and all processing documentation related to residential real estate assets. Additionally, you will be required to have a strong understanding of real estate aspects including underwriting valuation, purchases/sales, due diligence, and legal, title, and escrow documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Work on US Mortgage Underwriting Process of 12M/30 Year Loan Products - Examine and evaluate documents such as Credit & Background reports, Loan application forms, financial statements, entity documents, and all processing documentation - Understand all aspects of real estate including underwriting valuation, purchases/sales, due diligence, and legal, title, and escrow documentation - Interface with all departments to obtain further information, quote rates, present proposals, and explain company underwriting policies - Verify market comparables for both rental values and property sale values - Develop and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of multiple loan product guidelines offered by the company and risk assessment tools - Assess risks and present recommendations to senior management for approval Qualifications And Experience: - 2 to 4 years of experience in US Mortgage 12M/30 Year Loan Underwriting - Skilled in reviewing and analyzing Property Appraisals - Strong knowledge of guidelines related to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac - Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentations to senior management - Bachelor's degree in finance, MBA, M.
