Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Monitor Checkpoint firewall logs and alerts for anomalies or security threats. Perform initial triage and basic troubleshooting of firewall-related issues. Handle incidents and service requests related to firewall policies, NAT rules, and VPN access. Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams with detailed documentation. Maintain and update tickets in accordance with SLA requirements. Assist with periodic firewall health checks and performance monitoring. Work on predefined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution. Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures. Required Skills: Basic understanding of firewall concepts, IP routing, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Exposure to Checkpoint firewall (R80.x preferred) or equivalent security solutions. Familiarity with security incident management tools and ticketing systems. Good communication and documentation skills. Willingness to work in 24x7 environments or rotational shifts. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering , Information Technology, or related field. Checkpoint CCSA (or in progress) is a plus.
