Analyst (Eligibility Specialist)

As an Eligibility Specialist at our Chandigarh IT Park facility, you will play a crucial role in the US healthcare sector by verifying patient insurance coverage, assessing eligibility for services, and coordinating referrals and authorizations. Your responsibilities will include confirming patient insurance details, evaluating patient information for service qualification, coordinating referrals and pre-authorizations, communicating with patients regarding insurance benefits, and maintaining accurate documentation of all interactions. It is essential to stay updated on current regulations and policies to ensure compliance with insurance verification guidelines. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field, along with 1-3 years of experience in eligibility and benefits verification within the US healthcare system, particularly focusing on commercial and workers" compensation insurance. Proficiency in using insurance portals and healthcare management software, excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to handle sensitive information with discretion are crucial for success in this position. Experience in obtaining referrals and authorizations is considered advantageous. This full-time position involves working rotational night shifts to support our international operations.
