Analyst-Data Analysis

As a Data Analyst at Tesco, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets and presenting insights through visual storytelling and visualization tools such as Tableau and PyDash. Your role will involve ensuring data quality and integrity, completing tasks within agreed KPIs, and supporting automation of tasks like report generation and dashboard refresh. You will engage with market partners to understand business problems, translate them into analytical questions, conduct specified analysis, and present actionable insights to decision-makers. Additionally, you will be expected to write well-structured and efficient code, contribute to the development of knowledge assets, and generate practical insights that drive business decisions. To excel in this role, you should have a basic understanding of business decisions, 1-2 years of experience in analytics delivery, and proficiency in domains like retail, CPG, telecom, or hospitality. Knowledge of Tableau, Basic Statistical Concepts, Advanced Excel, SQL, and experience with tools like Hive, Hadoop, Teradata, and Alteryx/Python will be beneficial.
