Job Opportunity: Power Electronics Design Engineer Defence Applications Location: Talegaon Open Positions: 2 Experience Required: 2 to 4 years Education: B.E. in Electrical & Electronics (First Class; Maximum 3 ATKTs) Role Overview: We are seeking talented and motivated engineers for the Design & Development of Power Electronics products such as Motor Drives, DC/DC Converters, Inverters , and other power conversion systems for Military and Defence applications . Key Responsibilities: Design and development of DC/DC converters and motor drives. Selection of converter topologies, simulation, and filter design. Conceptualization, prototyping, and testing of rugged power electronics products. Engineering of existing products to meet military-grade specifications. Interaction with cross-functional teams and vendors for subsystem design. Hands-on design of subsystems including gate drivers, power stacks, and controller boards. Debugging and testing of controller boards and medium voltage converters (690VAC or above). Technical offer preparation, binding data drawing, and PLM release activities. Selection and application engineering of electronic components. Preferred Candidate Profile: Strong technical acumen and problem-solving skills. Experience in ruggedized power electronics for military or industrial applications. Exposure to medium voltage converter/drive design. Hands-on experience in testing and debugging of power electronics systems. Familiarity with industries such as ABB, GE, APC, Eaton, Honeywell, Centum, Tata Power SED, Schneider Electric, or EV segment companies.
