Analyst - Accounts Payable

As a member of our team, you will be expected to be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and translating documents in Japanese. Your responsibilities will include processing vendor invoices, creating and maintaining vendor setups in ERP PeopleSoft, and handling inter-office (AR) invoices. Additionally, you will be tasked with responding to customer queries via emails and calls, gathering relevant information for processing vendor invoices from requestors and department SPOCs, and ensuring adherence to process transactions as per agreed SOP guidance. You will play a crucial role in clearing incomplete or exception invoices, as well as gathering information and backups required for expense approval. It will be your responsibility to perform month-end activities and checks to ensure smooth closing, allocate invoices and requests to the team, and manage location or vendor escalations. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will assist team members with process queries and participate in daily, monthly, and quarterly defined controls, providing data input for monthly governance meetings. To excel in this role, you must have a strong command of the Japanese language, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. Your ability to work effectively in a team, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and follow SOPs diligently will be crucial for success in this position.
