Analyst 1 - Supply Chain Planning

Role Overview: As a purchasing specialist at Comcast, your role involves acquiring routine materials, supplies, and services, along with compiling data for financial analysis. You will be handling straightforward tasks with limited supervision. Key Responsibilities: - Review requests and obtain quotes from standard vendors, creating purchase requisitions. - Meet with standard vendors regularly to discuss purchasing needs. - Receive equipment, perform asset management tasks, enter data into the asset management database, and deliver equipment to the appropriate end users. - Process invoices, enter information into the purchasing system, and collaborate with the Accounting team to resolve any supplier invoice queries. - Assist in supplier and contractor negotiations, compiling and maintaining statistics and other data for these discussions. - Maintain regular and punctual attendance, being flexible to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as required. - Fulfill any other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree is preferred. - Comcast also considers applicants with a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
