In this role, your primary responsibility will be the final testing and commissioning of complex Audio-Visual systems both during and after the build process. You will play a crucial role in providing technical and management leadership on significant tasks or technology assignments. Collaborating closely with the Project Manager, you will deliver documented test results from system testing and commissioning. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include reading and interpreting electronic schematics and architectural blueprints, testing point-to-point functionality of systems, reviewing project Scope of Work (SOW) to ensure installation quality, testing integrated systems, and troubleshooting AMX/Crestron and DSP systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for field installation of control programs, writing code for DSP systems, making minor programming changes, fine-tuning audio video systems for optimal performance, configuring IP addressable devices, providing client training, and completing final job documentation. To thrive in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills to interact with internal employees, clients, and colleagues professionally and timely. Proficiency in test and calibration equipment, support for user acceptance testing, minor programming capability for AMX/Crestron systems, diagnosing complex system problems, knowledge of advanced signal flow for audio, video, and control, understanding IP networking, advanced PC skills, multitasking abilities, and a keen eye for detail are essential. Additionally, a valid Driver's License and the ability to travel to various job sites are required. Preferred qualifications include formal education in Electronics or a related field, a minimum of 5 years of AV installation experience, familiarity with Enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, etc.), and AVIXA General CTS certification.
