Ammonia Technician

Job Purpose:

Responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems to ensure efficient plant performance and compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, inspect, and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls.
• Monitor system performance and respond to alarms, leaks, or breakdowns.

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and safety standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical/electrical repair skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/technical trade certificate (preferred).
• RETA/ARO or equivalent refrigeration certification.
• 2–5 years of ammonia refrigeration experience.

Work Environment:

• Industrial plant setting (cold storage/food processing)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,717.34 - ₹33,674.85 per month
