Job Description Job Title Position AM/ DM - Static Sub Function Detailed Engineering Business / Performance Unit Liquid Biofuel Function Static Engineering Location Hinjewadi Job Purpose To oversee the Static Engineering function and ensure the department's deliverables are aligned to the Business Unit and Group's objectives. Also, deliver high-quality, cost-effective design and deliverable for static equipment of the plant. Educational Qualifications BE Mechanical AND Design Engineering & Construction, ME Mechanical AND Design Engineering & Construction Experience 8-12 yrs Key Job Success factors (Key Responsibilities) Understand requirements, finalize deliverable, and ensure that all project related outputs (design/ mechanical data sheets) are high quality, complete, accurate, cost effective, and on time. Oversee execution of schedules for all projects (including resource schedules, execution methodologies, milestones, cash flow projections / budgets and periodic monitoring) aligned with project proposal/ projections. Evaluate and finalize outsourcing agencies, consultants and subcontractors. Conduct value engineering / cost optimization. Support BDN/ proposal teams in finalizing estimates for project bid submission. Manage relationships with all stakeholders (customer, sub-contractors and vendors, engineering departments, BDN, project management, purchase). Ensure all queries and requests (Technical/ Design Change/ Field Change) w.r.t. Detailed Engineering are closed promptly. 8. Build capability of team and manage rotation/ job enhancement/ talent pipeline within the department. Technical Competencies Excellent knowledge of Equipment used in Distilleries Equipment design with help of design software like PvElite/Compress/Nozzle Pro/AMETank etc. Excellent knowledge of Logistic & constraints Excellent knowledge of region specific statuatory requirements Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Power point etc. Excellent knowledge of Equipment functioning Excellent knowledge of Manufacturing / Fabrication processes as well as processes testing. Knowledge and Skills Team management Decision making Commercial Acumen Problem solving and analytical skills Innovative thinking and Change management Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills Ability to ramp up operations and deliver projects within pre-set cost parameters
