The Quotation Engineer interfaces with clients to provide product solutions based on customer needs/ requirements for moderate and complex quotations. In this role, you will: Complete/Issue moderate and complex opportunities/quotes using the company s quoting software. Review technical documents provided by the client including, but not limited to, specifications, data sheets, drawings, and publicly available competitor literature/information. Research and recommend solutions to technical product questions from customers and representatives. Recommend products based on provided specifications/information to customers and representatives. Acts as a resource to other members of the Project Quote team by answering questions and providing training. Professionally communicate with customers, representatives, and others to resolve issues relating to quotes, orders and/or other inquires. Other duties as assigned. Requirements for the role include: High School Degree or equivalent Associates Degree in General Business, Engineering, or another technical field preferred. The AME must ensure that his AME license/ Authorisation is current and valid on the type of aircraft/engine/systems to be certified by him. To carry out the inspection and certification of work pertaining to the maintenance of airframe and power plant systems and components within the scope of his Licence/ Authorisation. To ensure that all work performed in connection with maintenance is in accordance with the requirements/recommendations of the manufacturers. It should also be ensured the approved methods, tooling, procedures and materials are used in carrying out the said work. To ensure all work orders, inspection schedules, are properly completed & certified before issuing CRS. To ensure the snags observed during inspections and those reported by the flight crew during the flight are rectified in an approved method. Major defects and rectifications are promptly reported and dealt with. To ensure that tools and equipment used during maintenance are calibrated and in serviceable condition, and are not mishandled during use. To ensure that only approved materials and parts are used and the approved spares have necessary documentation and certification before installation on the aircraft. To ensure while handling equipment(s), tools and carrying out any servicing of aircraft or components etc. necessary caution and safety procedures are to be followed. Report to MCC/ Shift-Incharge whenever any defect is reported by flight crew/observed. Mentor technicians. Ensure that they have read the QAN, GIC & other Technical instructions issued from time to time. To maintain discipline and clear environment at work place. Should be in full uniform & Presentable as per company guidelines at all times while on duty. Ensure implementation of Safety Policy and safety management system within indigo engineering. Other duties as assigned by Manager Line Maintenance. Be aware of and comply with his / her safety responsibilities and accountabilities as laid down in the IndiGo SMS Manual, Chapter Safety Policy and Objectives.

Responsible for ORACLE ERP application software development Technical experience with Oracle EBS Suite (R12) specifically Oracle Financials (Payroll, GL, AR, AP, PO, IExpense) and familiar with the corresponding key tables, APIs Technical experience with Oracle application interfaces and data conversion Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills Good understanding of Oracle databases (including tables, views, indexes, table spaces, etc.) More than 4 years of Oracle Forms development experience and Oracle BI Publisher development experience. Plan and coordinate with Cross functional teams to ensure timely operations (Receiving and Inspection of Materials). Principal Responsibilities and Authorities: Receiving and Inspect all incoming materials as per Civil Aviation Requirements i.e CAR , etc. Keep update end users with concerned material reception. Ensure every material should be inspected and tagged as per MOE (Maintenance Organization Exposition). Maintain inspection report. Need to update all the Inspection transaction in SAP. Periodic Inspection for critical parts storage. Need to check the availability of CA Form 1/ EASA Form 1 for all the incoming parts. Manage improvement drives such as 5S, kaizen and continues improvement activities. Skills / Qualifications: System: Knowledge in MRO Warehouse and Aero parts Inspection Risk Management knowledge. Check sheet creation and Record the findings. Have a basic knowledge in CAR 145. Operational: Graduate Engineer in Aeronautics/Diploma in Engineering/ AME course (Mandatory) with 4-8 year experience. Experience in a manufacturing NPI role preferred. Knowledge of manufacturing metrics such as OEE and yield and experience establishing or tracking KPIs. Knowledge of quality methods and requirements including APQP or stage gate release processes, ISO9001, TS16949, and global OEM development systems. Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent education. Ability to travel to CM locations with little advanced notice.
