Amdocs BSS Application Knowledge: Hands-on experience with key Amdocs BSS applications, including: CRM, OMS, EPC, AR & Collections, CM, ASRM, TC, Mediation, APRM, Billing, and AmDD, etc. Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes within the Amdocs BSS suite. Technical Expertise: Skilled in issue investigation and root cause analysis using UNIX/Linux logs and Amdocs database data models. Well-versed in inter-application interactions within the Amdocs ecosystem, particularly involving data flows and API transactions across modules. Tool and Process Expertise: Proficient in using JIRA for issue tracking, including raising, updating, and managing tickets. Experienced in triaging issues in collaboration with the clients development partners. Knowledgeable in documenting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and identifying areas for process or system improvements . Responsibilities: Assist in triaging Amdocs BSS applications such as CRM, OMS, TC, Billing, AR, and CM. Review issues and provide investigation results to the project team to ensure completeness. Participate in triage meetings and provide relevant inputs for open issues. Proactively communicate with stakeholders to facilitate issue closure. Identify and raise risks for critical items that may impact testing timelines. Engage in root cause analysis and provide insights for continuous improvement. Provide regular updates to the project team regarding issue status, ensuring timely and quality delivery. Create supporting documentation and a knowledge base from testing results for future reference. Propose new ideas for automation tools and applications within ongoing projects. Build comprehensive test cases and test data, ensuring the test environment is ready for timely execution. Conduct peer reviews of test cases and related artifacts, documenting and reviewing defects as necessary. Execute test cases based on requirements and track/log defects, ensuring timely upload of test results. Mandatory Skills: Solid understanding of test design, testing types, and methodologies. Strong knowledge of Telecom BSS (Business Support System). Proficiency in managing multiple resources effectively. Experience with at least one test management tool (e.g., Opentext ALM)
