Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and provide support for application solutions focusing on SAP NetWeaver - ABAP. - Previous experience with SAP S/4 HANA projects such as implementation, upgrade, or support is essential. - Highly desirable experience with OData, CDS views, and AMDP. - Proficiency in Fiori integration, ABAP on Cloud, and ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP). - Experience in Clean Core ABAP transformation projects is advantageous. - Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and SAP Cloud ALM is a plus. - Design data migration scripts for S4HANA transition while ensuring code compliance with S4HANA. - Collaborate with product owners, experts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into user stories and detailed backlog items for implementation with the scrum team. - Conduct unit testing, prepare technical documentation following Barco's standard methodology and naming conventions, and assist with integration and user acceptance testing phases. - Investigate issues to identify root causes and develop solutions within your area of responsibility. - Apply and test SAP (OSS) Notes. - Work effectively as part of a (virtual) team and independently, showcasing open-mindedness, innovation, creativity, visual thinking, and a user-centric approach. About The Successful Candidate: Preferred Skills and Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field. - Desired experience range of 5 to 8 years. Skills Must Have: We are seeking an SAP ABAP Technical Designer with the following qualities: - Demonstrated experience in 2-3 full life cycle global implementations, including hands-on design and development in a complex systems and project environment. - Proficiency in Web-Dynpro, RICEF, Adobe Forms, IDOCs, User Exists, BADIs, OOPs concepts, and CDS Views. - Good functional knowledge/experience in SD, MM, Logistics, QM, and FI/CO business processes. - Experience in Data Migration projects using LSMW and BODS. - Expertise in ABAP for HANA, Fiori, UI5, and AMDB. - Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. - Willingness to travel.
