As a Controls Service Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) services for various automated systems. You will work closely with a team of technicians to ensure safe operation, fault troubleshooting, and maintenance of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) in compliance with OEM standards. Your key responsibilities will include conducting AMC services at customer locations, developing and managing the annual service schedule, handling reporting and coordinating with customers and internal departments for spare parts requirements. Additionally, you will provide coverage for O&M controls engineers on leave, troubleshoot PLCs, Drives, HMIs, and software, and oversee site O&M activities to resolve major issues and breakdowns. To excel in this role, you should possess strong leadership and team management skills, proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining automation systems, excellent organizational and planning abilities, and effective communication and coordination skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you should have a Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience with AWS, ASRS systems, automated conveyor systems, and AMC/O&M services. Your role will involve coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth and trouble-free operation of the systems. You will also be responsible for preparing various reports, managing travel arrangements for AMC services, and entering timesheets for yourself and the AMC staff.
