Position Summary: The District Manager oversees and manages the operational, administrative, and service delivery aspects of 108 Emergency Ambulance Services within a specific district in Maharashtra. The District Manager acts as a key representative of MEMS 108 at the district level and plays a vital role in achieving operational excellence, community trust, and government compliance. Key Responsibilities: Ensure efficient deployment of ambulances and field personnel in the district. Monitor KPIs, investigate deviations, and implement corrective action plans for continuous service enhancement. Supervise EMTs, pilots, and support staff; promote training, development, and accountability. Address public feedback, liaise with community leaders and health officials, and build awareness around EMS usage. Track ambulance condition, fuel usage, shift schedules, and ensure uninterrupted services. Assist in budgeting, reporting of district-level expenses, and optimizing cost-effectiveness of operations. Ensure strict adherence to MEMS protocols, NHM guidelines, and emergency response regulations. Act as the primary district-level point of contact between MEMS leadership, state agencies, and ground staff. Your responsibilities include validating and analyzing PCRs submitted by Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), ensuring completeness and accuracy in case documentation, and coordinating with field staff to rectify any discrepancies. Position Summary: The Operations Head of the 108 Emergency Ambulance Services in Maharashtra isresponsible for leading and managing statewide emergency medical operations to ensure prompt, efficient, and high-quality pre-hospital care. This role involves supervising dispatch centers, optimizing ambulance deployment, ensuring incident readiness, and maintaining compliance with state and national EMS protocols. Key Responsibilities: Lead daily ambulance operations across Maharashtra, ensuring efficiency,accountability, and adherence to SLAs. Oversee centralized Emergency Response Centre (ERC) functions, ensuring rapidtriaging and resource allocation. Strategically manage ambulance placement based on heat maps, demand trends,and call load analytics. Supervise and coordinate responses during mass casualty events, high-demandscenarios, or public health emergencies. Ensure adherence to protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), andimplement quality improvement initiatives. Work with HR and Training Teams to ensure paramedics, EMTs, and drivers arecontinuously trained and performance-monitored. Drive adoption of GPS, AVLT, GIS, and ERP systems to enhance visibility,reporting, and response efficiency.
