Job Title: Ambulance Driver

Location: Sree Saran Medical Centre - Tiruppur.
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in driving, preferably in healthcare or emergency Ambulance services.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Ambulance Driver to safely transport patients, medical staff, and equipment in a timely and professional manner. The candidate should have good knowledge of routes, emergency response procedures, and ensure vehicle readiness at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive the ambulance for emergency and non-emergency patient transfers.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop of patients and medical staff as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness, fuel levels, and general upkeep of the ambulance.
• Check and report vehicle maintenance issues regularly.
• Ensure all required medical equipment and supplies are available in the ambulance before duty.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and emergency team during patient transport.
• Follow traffic laws and hospital safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain a daily logbook of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle condition.
• Assist medical staff in lifting and transferring patients when required.
• Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.

Requirements:

• Valid Batch / Heavy Vehicle License (Mandatory).
• Minimum 10th Standard / SSLC pass.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience (ambulance or similar vehicle preferred).
• Good communication and discipline.
• Willing to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.
